With Canon being silent on this format & Nikon offering the V1 which is underpowered in my opinion, we can see why the big dslr companies are shying away from making advanced Mirrorless cameras’ that will eat into their dslr margins.

I have bought a nikon D5100 yesterday. I am impressed by the image quality and when all the controls and my guess worked, those photos have come out to be pretty good. I am in the process of learning the controls now. Obviously SLR is different from a point and shoot, still i am amazed.

I am trying to get into Film making, i have been looking at the EOS 5D MkII, Canon, 7D, Nikon 7000. I want great picture but not breaking the bank. I know that you cant get anything good for cheap. Any ideas guys, please help.
I know that using a DSLR to make movies is quite the fad now (but when you add in a good camera and lenses, it can get expensive). You can get a great video camera for a lot less, and it is made for the job.

This question has been asked before and the Epson 4490 was recommended. Reviews I have read state it is not compatable with Vista which is my system. The Nikon Coolscan-V ED was also recommended is it Vista compatable. What about HP scanners.
